Yay~ 我猜 will no longer be boring! 阿雅会来了. Am I bias again? But seriously I find this week’s episode more interesting. Not sure if Makiyo will be permanent but it sure beats those other rubbish hosts, except 千霈. Best would be to see 丞琳, but thats unlikely to happen. Oh well…

A very very nice album from F.I.R. Loved all of the tracks expect track 9. 月牙湾 & 三个心愿 are personal favourites. Very impressive how they use only a keyboard + guitar and lead singer can do. I don’t really know what else to say about the album. You just got to listen to it for yourself. Rock on~

Wake me up when September ends… September is coming to an end, which means 1 more month to exams >.<
3 years ago, on this day, I enlisted for national service. It felt like its just only yesterday, time really flies. Kinda miss those days at Tekong, miss my bunk mates and all the stupid things we did. Maybe I’ll write about those sometime after my exams. As for now, I should go back to my assignments. Good thing F.I.R released their album yesterday and I’ve been loop the whole album since yesterday afternoon. 加油加油加油

For the past 3 weeks, I have been suffering from block and runny nose, coughs, itchy eyes. I went to the polyclinic but the medication from the doctors there didn’t help. Hence my mum suggested I visit one of the clinics in my neighbourhood. Theres like 5 clinics near my area, with 4 just along Jalan Jurong Kechil. Usually I would visit the “Toh Yi Clinic” because Dr. Yap is a very friendly person and he will explain every detail to you; He is also a super hardworking doctor. He starts his clinic from 8 into the night. And on weekends too. /me salutes him. But today my mum told me to go to the “Cheong Medical Clinic” because his medicine very “powerful”. Hence I gave it a go.
During consultation he asked my whats wrong, I said “I got a flu and its bugging me for weeks, I have seen doctors…..etc.” Then after checking me out, he said “No, its not a flu. Its just allergies.” I was quite surprise and kinda doubt him alittle. So he gave me some unique medicine to take home. Not to mention his consultation fees are kinda high.
After taking those medicine, A/Prof Cheong is right. I’ve checked up the medication he given me and its some kind of antihistamine which is what my ENT specialists said I would need for my sensitive nose. Now I understand that why his medicine are powerful. Its because his diagnosis are accurate. Kudos to him. Sometimes I wonder is there a place that I complain about those irresponsible doctors, its not the first time im gaven wrong diagnosis and prescriptions.

Its been about 2 weeks since the album had been release and I only finish listening to it. I pretty like the album, the all songs are nice(maybe I’m bias). I think the jellyfish haircut is quite nice too. I’ve seen the MVs and its nice to see 丞琳 dancing again. Thats something we didn’t see from the previous 2 personal albums. Her singing has improved too, and I notice her key is higher as compared to previous albums. I heard its topping the sales in Taiwan hope the sales is likewise through out asia like 遇上爱. Honestly I haven’t bought the album because Singapore version is always crap, Singapore’s SonyBMG really CMI. I was thinking of getting the Taiwan pre-order version but I think will wait awhile for the 改版. Most likely Singapore won’t release it like last time so I have to think of ways to get one back from Taiwan again.

WRC legend

To one of the greatest WRC driver of all time, Colin McRae. I believe he played a big part in bring up the name of WRC. I remembered watching a Subaru Impreza 555 racing on TV when I was young and soon grew interest in WRC. Its sad to hear such a tragic end for a great person.

Finally, after years of torturing by the sound of my hard disk, I have gotten rid of that crap 40GB maxtorture and replaced that with another Seagate 80GB which I found from one of the old servers. I’m really surprise that one hard disk can produce so much sound, something like 2 delta fans, just that its in high pitch. Not to mention my previous graphic card, the FX5800 which sounded like a jet engine too.
Talking about servers, I used another old server and placed it in the living room for download and other services so that I don’t have to keep my PC on. Hope to see a drop in my room temperature. I think I will need sometime to get used to my silent PC because I’m not sure is it on at times. Not more ferrari, now it sounds like nothing. Well not really, the other 4 is still producing a little bit of sound; But its cool. =D
