Pretty long week including last week. For the last two weekends I have been spending most of my time sleeping. Fortunately there is a long weekend coming. Also, went for my first golf lesson today, my back is aching. Brought the golf set that my uncle gave to show it to the coach. The coach was saying that this brand(can’t remember what it was) is custom made and each one is like 4 figures. Awkward. People must be thinking whats a noob doing with all those pro stuff. This reminds me why my Auntie is always complaining to my Mum about my uncle’s obsession with golf. Actually, that’s partly the reason why I decided to learn because I want to know why are there so many people around me crazy about putting the damn ball into a hole. or 18.

Anyways, looking at the time, some of my colleagues are on the plane right now on the way to Bangalore. I should have been on that flight. ): Since my Mum is in HK now, I guess it’s better for me to stay home to accompany my Dad.

Exam.

It’s the exam period and everyone is busy :( Only my friends that are still in Monash are still rushing for their assignments. I wonder why Monash is always the last to finish exams for every sem. Kinda miss those days, sitting together in lectures, multitasking between listening to class and browsing whatever that’s on our laptops; Gathering in an empty classroom for the whole day, doing assignments, mug for exams, blasting music, eating and enjoy wasting time together. It’s very nice! *w/Borat accent.

The weather for the past 2 days are like super hot. Last night after soccer, came home, took a shower, and I went back to the showers again within 5 mins because I can feel myself sweating. Looks like the heat wave came alil too early this year. I recall it’s usually in May.

It has been a busy week tho I thought I could relax since I taking training. But there were urgent work so after training, I have clear them at home.. stayed up till about 2 3 am each day. I pray that noone will disturb my sleep tonight. It’s been 3 weeks since I could get some proper sleep. I think I will die soon if all these things keeps coming up. Like I told my friends I would turn off my phone when I sleep these days because I don’t want anyone to disturb my short and poor quality sleep.

After more than a week, my Dad has been discharge yesterday. Doctors says because he was rather healthy before he was admitted hence even his condition was rather critical, his recovery rate is very good. Glad that he is fine now, now its my turn to fall sick. It’s been a tiring week for everyone. Not enough sleep, going to work and going over to the hospital after work. Thanks again to all the friends and relatives for all the care and concern given. Cheer !

My dad go admitted into SGH today. Turns out it was some huge gall stone blocking the duct from the liver and gall to the intestines. When I arrived at the hospital, I was kinda shock to see my dad being hooked up with all kinds of monitoring device. He was complaining about the pain as the morphine had wore off, but nothing was done. The nurses can’t do much and they could only call the junior doctor on duty. Waited for more than an hour before the doctors came. Finally had the chance to talk her and understand the situation and also painkillers were given to help manage the pain.

Felt so helpless when I saw my father asking for help and not being able to do anything. Kinda pissed at the inefficiency about how they worked and the thought of transferring to a private hospital came to mind. But the doctor said its not advisable for my dad to be discharged. Anyways, after the painkillers were given, my dad went back to sleep and I guess it should be the best to stay for the night for monitoring and go for the surgery in the afternoon.

Good thing I have chalked about quite a few off days, and its a good time to use them now. But I’m starting to have seconds thoughts about my India trip next month. Guess I’ve have to see what happens in the next few days.

1st April.

Sent my Dad to SGH A&E at about Xam in the morning because he was complaining about serious abdominal pain. He already seen a doctor and had an injection in the afternoon but it was no good. Lucky thing is that there wasn’t much people at the A&E, like lesser than 5 in the queue which is good. I remember when I had a similar problem and went to NUH, the waiting time was like 1-2hrs even tho there wasn’t much people. And the doctor didn’t gave me the right medication and the pain kept coming back and I had to go there again the following night and repeat the bloody process all over again.

Hence, to save all the trouble, I would always go to SGH, even if the queue is long, at least it is gonna worth the wait. For my Dad’s case, I think they did some scans and conclude that it was some Gastrointestinal inflammation or something. With the right medication, I can see that he is feeling better.

On another note, today is April fools’ and of course there are tons of pranks everywhere. Like eztv change their name to ezsports and only had sports video, youtube showing everything upside down, etc. What I cannot stand are news agency/website publishing senseless and unoriginal news which they think is funny. Everyone can smell their dumbass joke from a mile away.
