2009 F1 Singapore Grand Prix

Eventful race, but could have been more exciting if Hamilton screwed up alil. Kimi was like invisible throughout the race. Button did a good recovery race. Rosberg was really unlucky today. Glad that Alonso managed to get a podium although I was rooting for him to get pole. I don’t understand why crashing a car is counted as illegal. To me, thats tactic at the highest level. Anyways, like Alonso said, a win is a win.
True cheating should be Trulli letting Hamilton past last year. Just do a replay of all previous laps of his run and you can question him why he took a different line on the last lap.
End of first ICT

Finally, completed my 3 weeks long ICT. People say reservist is slack, well for me, it is only really true. The only slack part is that there is alot of buffer time in between things, like 2 hrs for lunch, long tea breaks. So most of us will be sleeping in the lecture room or bunk. The exercise/outfield portion isn’t as slack as I would imagine.
I use to like outfield but this time, I didn’t really enjoyed myself. Overall it was ok, the only bonus was that we don’t have to eat combat rations. I’m lucky to join a platoon which is quite a fun bunch and that helped alot. Now I just need alot of rest. For the past weekends, I have been spending most of my time sleep at home.
So what are the highlights? IPPT silver, mild sunburn, a couple pimples, insect bites, cuts from conwire, met new people. Thats about it I believe.

Everything is packed and is ready to go for my first ICT, 090909 @ 0900. Very nice numbers.
Was planning to spend the afternoon packing but had to go to customer’s site to do some urgent last minute things. I met this girl in the lift at Tampines Courts. I guess she thought I was a staff at Courts because I was going to the office level and asked me if Subway is opened, which I have no clue about. Later which I found out from the HR there that the Subway restaurant will be opening something this week. Anyways, exchanged some brief conversations and she thanked me before exiting the lift. Well kinda like her smile and it brighten up a not-so-easy day for me.
LCD Display

Last night, I was curious about what will happen if you cut a LCD screen. So I went to youtube and looked at videos of people cutting, stabbing, smashing up their LCD monitors. Surprisingly, none of them show liquid coming out of the display; contrary to what I’ve thought.
Anyways, this is what happened to my screen today. I was still cleaning the screen while I was watching youtube. Must be some kinda curse in those videos.
At first I thought it was the graphic card screwing up so I pressed the screen and the crack stretched across to the middle of the screen. -__-”
Good thing the screen was replaced today.
